How long has Clear Choice been operating?
We’ve been servicing the Portland Metro/Vancouver area since 2002.
Do you use subcontractors?
We pay our installers hourly and never use subcontractors to install your windows.
Can I visit your showroom?
Our office/showroom is centrally located in SW Portland near Bridgeport Village open M-F, 8AM-3PM. In order to ensure an informative visit we encourage you to call ahead to schedule an appointment for your visit.
How do I schedule a complimentary consultation?

Window Replacements
Are triple pane windows worth the cost?
Triple pane windows are not a wise choice for Portland. They are also about ⅓ heavier than double pane windows. Studies show that for this milder climate, a double pane window is just as effective as a triple pane window. Unless you live near the airport and are trying to control extreme noise pollution or a minus 50 degree snowstorm like in Alaska, triple pane is not the window you should choose.
How do you install in the rain?
We install windows year round in Portland. We do use different materials when the temperature drops (sealant) below 50 degrees. That said, we are interrupted by the occasional snow storm or the extreme heavy downpour.
Should I replace all my windows at once?
We recommend replacing multiple windows at once — as many as need replacing! We offer a free in-home quote on any replacement of 3 or more windows.

Do you replace interior doors?
No. We specialize in replacing exterior doors only.
How long does it take to replace a door?
We can replace your doors in a day! Replacing an exterior door takes an average of 5 or 6 hours. We’ll let you know what to expect so you can plan accordingly.
Brands & Materials
What’s the most suitable window for the northwest?
Vinyl and fiberglass are commonly used in the northwest due to their longevity and energy efficiency. Fiberglass will have more options in color, sizes, and styles than vinyl. They also seem to last longer. And fair better in high wind or prolonged sun exposure. We do also carry aluminum and wood windows for those who need those options.
What brands does Clear Choice carry?
We carry a wide spectrum of window brands to make sure we provide options for every customer that we service. Everything from high-end wood windows to construction-grade vinyl windows.
Which window brand should I choose?
It’s best to have that discussion with your estimator since every homeowner and budget is different. We have seasoned estimators that would love to speak with you about what brand is best suited for your home. Let’s work together to find the perfect window solution to fit your needs and goals.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, Clear Choice is fully licensed in Oregon and Washington. We also have 60+ years of combined installation experience.
Do I get money back when I replace my old windows?
Yes, you can get a cash rebate for making energy-saving upgrades to your home, including replacing your old windows. You can also get a tax credit at the end of the year. Please consult your tax advisor. Learn more.
